Seyed Javad Safavi is a Senior Petrophysicist and Head of Petrophysics with more than 19 years of experience in formation evaluation, integrated petrophysics, and advanced well-log interpretation across oil and gas fields in Iran. His expertise covers complex carbonate reservoirs, fractured and vuggy pore systems, advanced logs, NMR, borehole imaging, full-waveform sonic, cased-hole evaluation, petrophysical modeling, and wellbore stability.
Having contributed to the evaluation of more than 250 development wells and a wide range of field development, reservoir study, gas-storage, and E&P projects, he combines hands-on petrophysical interpretation with experience in leading petrophysics disciplines and supporting field development decisions. Javad also develops and delivers specialized technical training programs for petroleum professionals, with a focus on practical Formation Evaluation, Advanced Petrophysics, Log QC, Borehole Imaging, NMR, and Sonic Interpretation. His professional focus is simple: turning complex well and reservoir data into reliable petrophysical interpretations that support better technical decisions.
